Satish Shenoy
Director & CEO
Satish is a co-founder of Regulus and is responsible for defining overall strategy of the firm. His role involves building long-term relationships with key clients and the investor community as well as providing advice and insights on transaction strategy.
Satish brings with him 23 years of rich experience in various senior positions in the corporate and financial services industry. His roles in the financial services sector range from corporate finance, project finance, debt syndication, debt restructuring & capitalization and capital markets tosecurities distribution, insurance broking, fund management.This diverse experience has been gained during his tenure with Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, IL&FS and IL&FS Investmart, Brescon and Meghraj SP Corporate Finance. In each of these roles, Satish has played an instrumental role in the establishment of new business lines or providing a strategic direction to the existing businesses.
At Kotak, Satish had established the distribution and capital markets franchise. Later, he moved to IL&FS, where he started the merchant banking and insurance broking businesses. In Brescon & Meghraj SP, Satish turned around the corporate financebusinesses by leveraging his relationship building skills and experience in deal closures.
Satish holds an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors of Technology in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Suratkal. He serves as a Director on the Board of Gharda Chemicals and has been a member in several committees of AMBI, which was constituted by SEBI. In the past, he has taught courses on financial services and related areas in the management programme at Narsee Monjee, Mumbai.
Jayasankar is a co-founder of Regulus and handles all administration, legal and compliance related matters, apart from providing resource support to transaction teams in Regulus.
Jayasankar has over 23 years of varied experience in administration, logistics, legal research, documentation and practice. Prior to Regulus, Jayasankar worked as Assistant Vice President in Meghraj SP Corporate Finance (Pvt) Ltd, heading legal and compliance functions. Prior to that, he was working as a General Manager (Legal & Compliance) in Healthcare Global Enterprises, heading legal, compliance, investor relations and corporate affairs. In his role at Healthcare Global Enterprises, he executed multiple private equity funding transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate structuring transactions. He has wide experience in negotiations and drafting of shareholders’ agreements and other transaction documents. Jayasankar started his career with Indian Air Force, where he served for 19 years.
Jayasankar has a degree in LLB from Punjab University, Masters in Business Administration (HRM) and Business Law from IGNOU and NLSIU respectively.
